  11. If rates fall after I've locked, while my loan is still in process, will you lower my rate?
In order to renegotiate your rate lock, BOTH of the following conditions must be met:
    1. We must be ready to submit your loan for final approval; and
    2. Our posted rates must be at least .250% lower in RATE for the points/rebate that you originally locked into.

Please review your lock confirmation and compare it to the market rates. If both of these conditions are met, you are eligible to renegotiate your rate lock. The renegotiated pricing will be somewhere between your original rate lock and our current market rates. For example, if you locked in at 6.75% at zero points and our market rate is 6.50% at zero points, you would be eligible for a rate lock renegotiation. If these conditions do not apply, then your final loan documents will be drawn up at the original rate lock terms.
